History That Breathes Through Every Wall
The building that houses Atelier Studio was a spice merchant's warehouse in the eighteenth century, and you can still read that lineage in the hand-cut laterite stone, the wide teak-planked corridors, and the high-ceilinged courtyard where frangipani drops petals onto the sand-olive flagstones below. We have retained those bones faithfully and layered them with bespoke craftsmanship — hand-loomed linen, artisan copper fixtures, and original archival maps of the Malabar Coast framed on lime-washed walls. Staying here is not merely sleeping somewhere beautiful; it is occupying a chapter of Fort Kochi's living history.
